When the Moon is new, we set intentions. When she is full, we birth our creations into the world. Whatever you’ve been working towards is ready to be revealed in the spotlight of awareness. This is the culmination of results from the entire waxing cycle. It’s time to kick up your heels and express joyful gratitude to the universe and to yourself.

January, and specifically the full moon of January is a great time for spellcasting and ritual work geared towards both physical and protection. You want to begin your year on the right foot! Asking the energies to bless you with protection and guidance for the New Year is a good way to start.

To attract and preserve love, use vanilla, cinnamon, and coriander. If your goal is money, ginger and dill will help you achieve it. Orange, lemongrass, marjoramwill help find the answer to an important question. Pepper and basil add courage, garlic and mint protect from negative. Sage will help resolve conflicts and establish peace. There is the legend of the Moon Maiden who collects the wishes and dreams of all living creatures on earth, they are then dropped into a goblet and swirled together before they are sprinkled back on Earth and become dew.
