Apples, Leaves, Cinnamon And Wine

September…. Indian Summer giving way to cooler weather soon, I hope.

Harvest Moon is here.

The Harvest Moon is a symbol of new beginnings. The moon corresponds to the harvest time of year when farmers are busy harvesting their crops. This full moon illuminates the sky for them right after sunset. And after the hard work of the harvest, it is a beautiful marker of a new chapter of the year.

This full moon marked the moment your ancient ancestors collected their crops and began storing them away for the impending winter.

The Harvest Moon is thought to have an intense energy.

Lay down your burdens with a full moon ritual that can help you release all.

Go to a place outside under the light of the moon, light a candle before writing down everything that no longer serves you. After that, say it out loud, take a deep breath, and exhale whatever you want to let go of. Imagine it leaving your body via your breath. Next, use the candle to burn the paper.

Mabon is considered a time of the Mysteries. It is a time to honor Aging Deities and the Spirit World.

Considered a time of balance, it is when we stop and relax and enjoy the fruits of our personal harvests, whether they be from toiling in our gardens, working at our jobs, raising our families, or just coping with the hussle-bussle of everyday life.

Moon Water

Moon water is water that’s been charged by the moon. This water has been infused with the energy of the moon itself. This magical water is especially useful to witches for spells, rituals, sabbats, cleansing, and more.

Use this month’s energy to infuse in Harvest Water.

Life is about sowing and reaping. Every aspect of your life has to do with sowing and reaping; it is either you are planting or harvesting.

The results of all our hard work are starting to emerge and we can see what our efforts can yield.

Next, write down everything it is that you want to call info your life.

Balance

Because day and night are the same length on the autumnal equinox, ancient cultures associated this day with the concept of balance.

The Wheel has once more turned, and the change of season begins.
What will be is. What was will be.
The Equinox is upon us, and the time to reflect, at hand.
All time comes together, here and now in this sacred space.
And I, but a moment in time, feel the change as I pass From one season to the next. Between the worlds I stand in this sacred place.
