Total solar eclipses are rare. There have been just 16 in the U.S. since 1869 and the next one won’t come around until 2044.

The total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, has captured worldwide attention.

This eclipse has drawn comparisons to the biblical story of Jonah, who spent three days in the belly of a whale before being released in Nineveh.

It will be the longest U.S total solar eclipse since 1806.

It will be the darkest U.S total solar eclipse for 217 years.

Some conspiracies have emerged about the April 8 eclipse, like NASA working with ancient Egyptian deities, to sleeping giants waking up in America’s state parks.

They are scheduled to launch three “sounding rockets” from its flight facility in Virginia, to study how Earth’s atmosphere is affected when sunlight momentarily dims over the planet. 

The project is named Atmospheric Perturbations around Eclipse Path, or APEP for short.

As some have pointed out, Apep is also the name of an ancient Egyptian deity. Apep, who was also known as the “Lord of Chaos”.

Oh, and one of the rockets is supposedly launching at 3:22pm, 322 being a number associated with the conspiracy-shrouded Skull and Bones society. 

As importantly, CERN is also set to restart its proton beam collisions at the Large Hadron Collider following its annual winter break.

It’s mission, to smash subatomic particles together and find the ‘God particle’ has raised concerns about opening a black hole.

Oh and all during a Mercury Retrograde.

A rare and massive comet with a devilish nickname is set to pass by Earth for the first time in 71 years and may be visible during the highly anticipated April 8 total solar eclipse as well,known as the “devil comet” due to its formation of two “horns” made up of ice and gas and periodic explosions.

At approximately 30 kilometres (19 miles) across, this giant icy lump is comparable in size to Mount Everest.

But my FAVORITE lore is all about Aleister Crowley…….

On April 8, 1904, he claimed to have heard the voice of a mysterious entity named Aiwass.  It was this entity that dictated Crowley’s The Book of The Law. He worked with this entity for 3 days, April 8, 9 & 10.

Crowley said he wrote The Book of the Law on 8, 9 and 10 April 1904, between the hours of noon and 1:00 pm.

It was an excellent example of automatic writing.

The eclipse will also go right over his residence, where he did a lot of rituals, Hebron, NH, as well as Crowley, Texas.

During that time, he was instructed to draw an X symbol. Oddly enough, April 8th is the day of the X Eclipse.

A solar eclipse occurs as the Sun casts the Moon’s shadow across the Earth. 

It unites the powers of Sun and Moon, light and darkness, logic and intuition.

It is “a day without a night, a night without a day,” magically suspended from normal routines: a cosmic exception that proves the rule of Sun and Moon.
